Who am I?
- Graduate of New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, class of 2009, where I created a self-guided concentration focused on understanding decision-making by studying marketing, media and politics. This included a senior colloquium on The Role of Propaganda in Modern Democracy.
- Co-founder of the Ademos Project, a social marketing venture focused on manufacturing discussion instead of consent.
- Certified Rescue SCUBA Diver (although it’s been a while).
- I fenced foil in high school at The Loomis Chaffee School (yes, it’s a boarding school, and yes, it’s co-ed). That’s about the extent of my athletic abilities though.
- I now work full time in support for a major technology company building and maintaining user trust in our products and services. It’s a pretty awesome way to spend my day.
You can also read my “boilerplate” biography if you want something more formal.
What can I do for you?
That’s a good question. To be honest, this website is more about having a place to land when you Google my name than anything else. I occasionally write on social media, marketing, psychology and support as well, with a goal of making you think and exposing you to new ideas.
Where can you connect with me?
Well, there are links to my profiles on a few social networking sites to the right, so you can friend/follow/stalk me there. You can also e-mail me [at] jedcohen [dot] com. Or you can leave a comment on an entry here, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
